The *.FNT files you see from you dir command are soft fonts which the program will download to a HP (or compatible) laser printer. Most laser printers come with at least 512K memory. That will be all you need to download the soft fonts. Since the fonts are proportional, it will allow you to print more on a line and it will allow you to customize how your labels will look. If you have an HP DeskJet or compatible, you probably didn't get any memory when you bought it and you won't be able to download the fonts without having any memory. In theory, a 256K memory upgrade should be all you need to use the soft fonts. My DeskJet doesn't have any, so I don't really know if it will work. If you have one and have memory, try to download the fonts and print a sheet out. I will reward the first mailed note I receive about the success or failure of this process with a free mailing of the latest version of the program, properly registered to the tester. MJS
